Karsten Gudmundset started as CEO for APPLY in September 2016. With degrees from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and business, he moved from Trondheim to the region of Stavanger nearly 30 years ago when starting his career as an engineer in Kværner Rosenberg. Before taking over the position as CEO in APPLY, Karsten was part of the group management in the German Kaefer Group where he held the position as Managing Director for 8 years.
Karsten has extensive experience from a number of management positions in Kvaerner and Aker Kvaerner companies, both in Norway and internationally.
Trond Rosnes joined APPLY as CFO in August 2020. Trond has 20 years of combined audit/consultancy and oil & gas industry experience where he has held various CFO positions. Prior to joining APPLY, he served as CFO at Aarbakke. Previous experience includes MD and CFO positions within former APPLY Group entities. Trond started his career as an auditor in Deloitte.
Trond holds a BSc in Audit & Accounting from the University in Stavanger and an MBA from Herriot-Watt University.
Agnar Kongshaug has been heading Operations, Products & Services in APPLY since October 2012, after serving as Managing Director for Apply Altra in 2011. Agnar has more than 20 years of experience from the offshore engineering industry.
In addition to general upper management, he has been manager of projects of different categories: technical information, system development and implementation, maintenance engineering, concept and feed studies as well as detail design.
Agnar holds a MSc in Marine Technology Engineering from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
Nine holds an MSc degree from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) - Institute of Marine Technology. Her professional background consists of 23 years in the oil & gas industry where she has been working with project management, design, engineering for fabrication and installation, tendering and business development.
Nine has previously been working for Subsea 7, Eidesvik Subsea and Technip Norway. Before joining APPLY, Nine worked for Shell where she held positions in the Netherlands, Australia and Norway.
Astrid Aadnøy has been leading the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality work in APPLY since February 2010. She has more than 25 years of experience within the oil & gas industry related to HSE & Q management and human resources as well as implementation and follow up of management systems within HSE, Quality and Risk Management.
Before joining APPLY, Astrid held positions in Kværner Rosenberg, Kværner Oil & Gas and Rosenberg Verft.
Astrid was educated at Teknologisk Institutt, Stord/Haugesund University College and Rogaland Regional College.
Trond has more than 20 years experience from the oil & gas industry. His main expertise is within the field of operations & project management, design engineering through all development phases, tendering as well as business development.
Before joining APPLY in 2019, Trond has previously held various management positions within Wood, J P Kenny, Subsea7, Halliburton and ABB.
Trond holds a MSc degree in Marine Technology Engineering from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
