Client: Az ACG
Project: Low Salinity Seabox Study
Scope: Feasibility Study
Date: Oct 2014 – Feb 2015
Mhrs: 5500 Mhrs
Location: Shallow-Water Gunashli – Caspian Sea
The base case for this study is to establish the main technical data and associated cost and schedule for a 300 000 bpd plant for producing low salinity water at the Shallow-Water Gunashli (SWG) facilities utilizing the SWIT subsea technology in combination with topside microfiltration (MF) and Reverse Osmosis (RO) units. v
However, investment costs for traditional technology are too high investment compared to the potential benefit. Az ACG is therefore pursuing the low salinity EOR potential by evaluating use of the SWIT technology for supply of low salinity water to a significantly lower total investment and operation cost.
The Scope of Work for this study was to develop Appraise Quality study deliverable
The study concluded the technical, project schedule and cost feasibility of the SWIT technology. Furthermore, developed basis for FEED work.
