KaupEx and HyFuel are two planned 20 MW facilities for the production of green hydrogen. These projects represent a significant investment for HYDS and are key to strengthening Norway’s position in hydrogen and energy transition. HYDS has previously received support from Enova to develop and deliver the plants.

“We have had a close and constructive collaboration with HYDS for a long time and look forward to contributing our expertise and experience to realize these deliveries. The projects will make a significant contribution to the development of hydrogen solutions nationally, and this agreement marks an important step in our partnership,” says Karsten Gudmundset, CEO of Moreld Apply.

The agreement means that Moreld Apply will be responsible for engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) of the two hydrogen plants, starting after the final contract is signed. The delivery will have a particular focus on safety, quality, and sustainability.
