1st stage recompressor KA-23-0001, 2nd stage recompressor KA-23-0002, 3rd stage recompressor KA-23-0003 and 6th stage injection compressor are currently operated at Visund with continuous recycling. Recycling will increase as Visund changes from oil to gas producer. The purpose of the project, which includes revamping the compressors, is to reduce CO₂ emissions, based on future production profiles​.

Scope of Work​

• Revamp of 1st, 2nd,3rd and 6th stage compressors​
• Replace the 1st and 2nd stage and modify the 6th stage Temperature control valves​
• Replace the 1st and 2nd stage Venturi flowmeters​
• Replace the 1st, 2nd and 6th stage Anti-surge valves​
• Replace the 6th stage seal gas heater​
• Modify the 1st, 2nd,3rd and 6th stage seal gas system​
• Install new access platform to new Venturies
