Low Pressure Production Phase
In 2014 (LPP phase 1), a 30 MW gas turbine was installed to drive the export compressor (pre-compressor 27KZ7001) on Kvitebjørn, this to reduce the inlet pressure from the original 120 to a minimum of 38 barg.

The purpose of low-pressure production phase 2 (LPP2) is to increase gas and condensate recovery by further reducing the inlet pressure from 38 barg and down to 20 barg at the field's estimated end of life in 2033.
Scope of Work
- Pre-compressor rebundling and replacement of internals in anti surge valve
- Parameter changes in CCC anti surge controller
- Rerouting line from outlet 4th stage recompressor
- New Fuel gas source – discharge 3rd stage recompressor
- New bypass line between 1st and 2nd stage recompressor
